About

Hi! I’m a Software Engineer with over a decade of experience, based in Seattle, Washington, USA.

I find computers incredibly fascinating, and I love peeling back the layers to really understand how they work. I’m hoping to post about learnings and interesting tidbits on this blog – I’d love to make learning about computers and the interactions between hardware & software accessible to more people.

I’m currently working at WBD as a Sr. Staff Software Engineer. I lead a couple of teams that solve ingress, service mesh, and related problems on a growing multi-tenant platform.

I am also an active contributor to the unvariance/collector project, which is a Kubernetes-native collector for monitoring memory subsystem interference between pods. I joined this project (selfishly, to learn more about operating systems and how to instrument them) after attending Jonathan Perry’s talk at KubeCon ‘24.

You can get in touch with me via email.
